About

About This Site

Clear Thought was built around a simple observation:

A lot of people feel mentally drained, foggy, or not quite themselves… and most of the advice they find doesn’t actually explain why.

It focuses on doing more.

More discipline. More routines. More effort.

But very little of it addresses what’s actually happening underneath.

This site exists to change that.

Why This Exists

At some point, pushing harder stops working.

You can get enough sleep and still wake up exhausted.

You can try to focus and feel like your brain just won’t cooperate.

You can follow all the usual advice and still feel stuck.

That disconnect is what led to this project.

Not from a place of expertise—but from trying to figure out why nothing seemed to work the way it was supposed to.

The Approach

Everything on this site is built around one idea:

If you understand what’s actually happening, the solution becomes clearer.

Instead of generic productivity advice, the focus is on:

  • mental fatigue
  • brain fog
  • cognitive overload
  • recovery and baseline function

The goal isn’t to overwhelm you with information.

It’s to help you recognise patterns—and understand what might actually be causing what you’re experiencing.

About Recommendations

Some pages reference tools or approaches that people are using to support mental clarity and recovery.

These are not presented as solutions or guarantees.

They exist as part of a broader picture—different ways people attempt to address the same underlying issues.

What works for one person may not work for another.

Transparency

Some links on this site may be affiliate links.

This means a commission may be earned if you choose to explore something further.

There is no additional cost to you.

More importantly—this does not influence what is discussed or included.

If something is mentioned, it’s because it fits within the context of the problem being explored.

Final Note

If you’re here, there’s a good chance something feels off.

Not dramatically wrong—but not quite right either.

This site isn’t here to diagnose or fix anything.

Just to help you understand what might be going on—and what direction to look in next.
